JENNIFER CHEW
Jennifer advises clients on estate and incapacity planning matters and drafts wills, trusts, powers of attorney, representation agreements, advance directives and nominations of committee. She also assists clients with estate matters such as applying for grants of probate and letters of administration.
Jennifer assists corporate clients with business matters such as incorporations, reorganizations, financings, buying and selling businesses by way of share or asset transfers, and drafting and reviewing contracts.
Jennifer’s real estate practice includes real estate conveyancing and mortgages.
Jennifer is a volunteer lawyer with the Access Pro Bono Wills Clinic Project and prepares wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements for low-income seniors and persons with terminal illnesses. She volunteered as the supervising lawyer for the Nidus Personal Planning Resource Centre and Registry through the Pro Bono Students Canada program from 2013 to 2018 and served on the board of directors of the West End Seniors' Network from 2011 to 2014.
Prior to entering law school, Jennifer worked as professional support staff at a national law firm. She also worked as a casting assistant in the local film & television industry, as an English editor at China Radio International in Beijing and as an English instructor in Tokyo. During law school, Jennifer volunteered with Artists’ Legal Outreach and the UBC Law Review.

JEFFREY C. BOSCHERT
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Friend, Colleague and Partner at Law, Jeffrey Boschert on January 19, 2022. Jeff was the Managing Partner of the Vernon Office of DuMoulin Boskovich LLP. Jeff had extensive experience in his field which included over 25 years in Real Estate Development. Jeff assisted his clients in every stage of the development process.
Jeff grew up on Vancouver Island. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia and his Bachelor of Law at the University of Victoria. Jeff was called to the Bar in 1995 and began his career in Victoria with the Firm, Crease Harman. Jeff went on to work as in-house legal counsel for a major strata-titled rental pool resort development on Vancouver Island before moving to Vernon. Jeff joined Davidson Lawyers LLP in 2002 where he was an Associate and Partner for 18 years. Jeff then joined forces with DuMoulin Boskovich LLP to open their second location in Vernon.
Jeff was the past President of the Vernon Bar Association, a past Director of both the North Okanagan Employment Enhancement Society (NOESS) and the United Way as well as a current Director of The People Place.
Jeff will be missed by his two boys, family, friends and colleagues.
